Misfit Media’s Marketing Coordinator is responsible for leading the charge on Misfit's online brand presence, running Misfit's internal marketing campaigns, and keeping Misfit us on top of the world. This will involve website management, social media management, paid advertising, creative shoots, effective copywriting, partnership collaborations, and much more.

As Misfit's Marketing Coordinator, you will report directly to our founders and are expected to continually evolve and grow as Misfit grows.

The ideal team member would bring 2+ years of agency level marketing experience with excellent project management and people skills. The Marketing Coordinator acts as a link between the world and our agency and is responsible for managing marketing/advertising campaigns and communicating our message. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge and experience in the areas of digital, social, web, and PPC marketing as well as experience working in an agency environment.

Job responsibilities
  • Understand Misfits’ needs and objectives and work closely with founders throughout campaigns and projects
  • ​Building campaigns using Facebook ads, google ads, marketing automation, and email
  • ​Manage administrative and campaign tasks to ensure consistency of the production process and that deadlines and internal budgets are met on time
  • ​Collect and analyze Web metrics, such as revenue, traffic, click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per click.
  • ​Think creatively, meet and collaborate with our team to discuss and identify goals and needs
  • ​Assist other team members in daily tasks as requested
  • ​Formulation of marketing strategies and ideas
  • ​Handle budgets, manage campaign costs, and communicate with team
  • ​Issuing of daily status reports, timelines and other reporting tools
  • ​Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns via report measurement tools and offer creative solutions
  • ​Help with conducting research on prospective clients, industries and issues as needed
Skills and experience (preferred):
  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a closely related discipline
  • ​2+ years in digital marketing account management in an advertising agency
  • ​Experience using Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Messenger, Wistia, Infusionsoft, Zapier, ClickFunnels, and Hubspot
  • ​Knowledge of ad sets, ad spend, re-targeting, and lead tracking
  • ​Highly organized and able to effectively handle multiple tasks, details and demands simultaneously
  • ​Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Task-oriented
  • ​Demonstrated ability to translate conceptual ideas and complex feedback into coherent and actionable creative requests
  • ​Strong written and oral communications skills and ability to comprehend technical products
  • ​Strong client and customer service mindset
  • ​A keen eye for details, must be excellent at proofing
  • ​Strong leadership skills with the ability to keep both internal and external team members on task
  • ​An eye for design and the ability to create aesthetically pleasing layouts and ads
  • ​Ability to continually analyze and optimize marketing platforms and concepts
  • ​Ability/willingness to work outside normal business hours, based on business and clients’ needs
  • ​A flexible attitude with the ability to work hard and have fun at the same time
Experience (required):
  • ​Account Management: 1-2 years (Strongly preferred)
  • ​Digital Marketing: 1-2 years (Strongly preferred)
  • ​Facebook Ads: 1 year (Preferred)
  • ​College education is required (4-year)
Starting Salary: $50k per year, with amazing potential for a salary growth (Flexible depending on previous experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM PST
Location: Culver City, CA
